God helps those who help themselves?? Does HE?

In Hindu Religion, Lord Ganesha is also known as the “Destroyer” of Obstacles, that can probably arise in the path of an individual, wanting to kick-start a new venture.

Yet, there are issues and challenges and roadblocks an individual faces and in the wake of these, an individual simply gives up or finds an approach to overcome the challenge

This implies that either Ganesha’s turn around time at times is behind time during which some individuals gives up. Yet there are some who persist… and emerge victorious. So is it that Lord Ganesha favours some more than the others? Yet,all God’s are non-discriminatory in nature or so we have been told, is it not?

This blog focuses on the latter category of people who persist despite headwinds. What qualities do they invoke and exhibit to emerge victorious at the end of it all? Or does it imply that when an individual lives certain qualities, certain values with a certain grit, the heavens open?

Or it also gives them the flexibility to pause…rest, rethink and re-strategize and convert the headwind to a tailwind!!

There is a proverb that God Helps those who help themselves

Re-framing this, I would say that God Helps those who understand themselves!!

A very happy Ganesh festival to all. May peace and common sense prevail in the world.

I am not sure if slow n steady wins the race.. there is no race if you ask me....but certainly slow and steady has its own grace...
